Ruby, now 28, was born and raised in the Philippines. She first came to the Netherlands in 1997 as an au-pair to the family Mileman-Verheij. Afterwards, she went to college at Hogeschool InHolland (Diemen, Amsterdam) for four years and has been working as an Assistant Fund Administrator at Citco Funds Services for 15 months. After obtaining the Bachelor in Economics degree, she moved to Erasmus University ( Rotterdam, also in the Netherlands) for pre-master study and after a year gained her Bachelor of Science title. On 9^th November 2006 Ruby will defend her master thesis to obtain a Master of Science in Business Administration degree at RSM Erasmus University .  

Although she loves her host family and her life in the Netherlands, she is ready for change and challenges. Ruby has fallen in love with Switzerland almost as much as she has fallen in love with Niels. It did not take her long to make the decision to move to Zug to be with him. Ruby is planning to continue her career as a business woman in Zurich .  

Niels, now 23 has lived just about everywhere. He was born in Nijmegen, the Netherlands completed high school at IB in 2001 in Zurich and has spent his early years practically living out of his parents  suitcase moving from one exciting country to the next. Now that he’s finally decided to go back and live in Switzerland,  he feels like he's home again. Fortunately, Ruby has agreed to move in with him, so he has never have to leave Switzerland again (unless their careers require it). Niels' need for learning his national culture (Dutch) is what brought him to Erasmus university where he and Ruby met and it didn't take them long to realize what they had together. He is currently working for Michael Page International in Zurich.
